In 1894 eleven American reaserchers, including Baird T. Spalding, organized quietly and without much publicity a special scientifical expedition to Himalayas in Tibet, India and China. Their aim was to make research on extraoridinary achievements of local initiates, Masters and all kind of “miracle men”, who have been considered a philosophers and mystics by official mainstream science.
